We are Diabetes UK. Our vision is a world where diabetes can do no harm. Diabetes affects more people than any other serious health condition in the UK. More than dementia and cancer combined. That means we need to take action now. Because we’re the leading UK charity for people affected by diabetes it’s our responsibility to lead the fight against the growing crisis. And this fight is one that involves all of us – sharing knowledge and taking diabetes on together. Visit the Diabetes UK site for local and national initiatives and other ways to get involved.
JDRF is committed to eradicating type 1 diabetes and its effects for everyone in the UK with type 1, and at risk of developing it via funding world-class research, making sure research moves forward and treatments are delivered as fast as possible, and giving support and a voice to people with type 1 and their families
