Weight management is a sensitive issue for many people and getting to an ideal, healthy weight is sometimes easier said than done. If you are overweight and have diabetes, there are huge benefits to losing weight. You’ll have more energy, feel better in yourself, and you’ll reduce your risk of serious complications like heart disease and stroke.
Even losing small amounts of weight can have significant impacts on your health and put you on a path of a healthier life. If you have type 2 diabetes and are overweight, losing weight can even put your diabetes into remission.
